Welcome message of the General Chair
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to visit this website for the first International Conference on Wireless VITAE 2009:
Wireless Communications, Vehicular Technology, Information Theory and Aerospace & Electronic Systems Technology to be held on 17-20 May, 2009, in Aalborg Congress and Culture Centre, Aalborg, Denmark.
Our Organizing Committee and Technical Program Committee have been working very hard to make Wireless VITAE 2009 a very fruitful event for everybody, i.e. people from academia, manufactures, service providers, science parks, etc.
Wireless VITAE will address every dimension of the present and future converging wired and wireless communication by acting as a platform for the unification of the following major areas:
• Wireless Communication • Vehicular Technology • Information Theory • Aerospace & Electronic Systems Technology
Center for TeleInFrastuktur (CTIF) is pleased to announce that the Wireless VITAE 2009 will be organized jointly with the European Wireless 2009 and the CogART'09. There will be a common conference fee for the three conferences which gives free access to all events. This will give a handful of opportunities for the participants to benefit from attending this ‘3-in-1’ event.
At the same time, we plan two very interesting workshops; Internet of Things and Business Match Making – for more information, please see this website. Moreover, we are planning several special sessions, tutorials and panels on key important topics.
At the Opening Ceremony, we have planned an executive round table discussion on the topic: ‘Green Wireless/Wired Teleinfrastructure: Make every connection a green connection’ by some of the most influential people from the global industry.
I am personally interested in your recommendation and advice and encourage you to call me or send me an e-mail at your convenience to make the Wireless VITAE 2009 a very successful event.
Looking forward to welcoming you in Aalborg on 17-20 May, 2009!
Best regards, Ramjee Prasad Prof, Director Center for TeleInFrastruktur (CTIF) Aalborg University
